  First visit, I had a little trouble figuring out where the main office was, but, I called and they gave me directions. FYI, it's in the back, straight back 300-400 years off the main road. Overall, nice facility. The officers run a tight ship, and if you pay attention and follow the rules, you won't have any problems. Use some common sense handling your weapons ... that's all they are asking for. Also, for those of you that like to carry, this is a state run facility, read your carry law book. Leave the guns in the car until you go out to the range. Also, make sure you have ear protection and glasses. Aim straight!

  MULTI POST 2/2 Paul said there IS no firearms permitted and I said its an open carry state he said no its not which made me correct him again. Joe buts in rightfully so and explains everything. He said you are half right and Paul is half right, he told Paul yes this is an open carry state so he is permitted to carry firearm openly (Paul than walks away he didn't want to hear another word.) but joe continued Paul is also right you are not permitted to carry a firearm once you step foot on this land this is considered Federal land and he further explained like federal buildings and post offices and I was so happy and relaxed that this man deescalated a situation from experience and kind words. He than told me we prefer you carry your riffle in a case and I completely understood that. He also took it upon himself to say I hope you please come back and not stay away because of this experience. Off topic I like to do quick drawl from my waist, almost like a reenactment of a caught of guard moment. But I took a photo of the rules and understand where I went wrong. But Joe said something to me that kind of scarred me, he said we ant allowed to carry firearms on our person. I thought and said what if a maniac was to try and shoot up the place my wife says we all have guns lol I thought that was funny. But its scary to say this but Paul was so hostile that if he was armed I think he may have shot me. I just would like to close by saying maybe in a few months I manage to find the time to go shoot again I will go there but if I see Paul I will do my best to stay out his way. 9/10 he sees so many people he won't remember me, but I will him. So again I acknowledge my faults took a photo of all the rules and make sure I abide by them all before showing up again and I advise you do the same. Just check out the image below.
